To a young boy those were perilous voyages and great adventures. Sudden gusts of wind taking hold of the enormous, rebellious sails, threatening to turn the small boat over. Huge waves of endless, restless water sending ice cold sprays into our faces... 💦

 I really enjoy establishing various surface planes and modeling form with layers upon layers of color pencils and chalk

Translating the greyscale modeling factors I am currently studying to modeling with cold and warm colors, I learn a lot from exploring the abrupt color contrast created by a hard edge, as well as the soft transition of a rounded form - achieving an ever smoother transition through the use of white chalk.
